Mr Allan Holmes
is the EPA Acting Chief Executive and ex-officio Chair of
the EPA Board. He is the Chief Executive of the Department
for Environment and Heritage. He previously held senior executive
positions in the SA Public Service as Director National Parks
and Wildlife, Director Heritage and Biodiversity Division
and Director Natural Resources Group.
Mr Holmes was appointed for his 'qualifications and
experience relevant to management generally and public sector
management' and 'qualifications and experience relevant
to environmental protection and management or natural resources
management'. His appointment extends from 21 April 2007
to 20 April 2010.

Ms Linda Bowes has
a wide variety of expertise and specialist knowledge in areas
such as corporate management, strategic planning, legislative
analysis and policy development. From 1994-2007 she was Chief
Executive of the South Australian Wine Industry Association
and is currently Proprietor of the consultancy firm Linda
Bowes & Associates. She was inducted into the Australian
Businesswomen's Hall of Fame in March 1999 and is a Member
of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Ms Bowes was appointed to the Board for her 'practical
knowledge of, and experience in, industry, commerce or economic
development'.

Ms Megan Dyson practises
as a sole legal practitioner and policy consultant in the
area of environmental law and policy, including advising the
Murray-Darling Basin Commission on legal issues relating to
environmental flows. Prior to this role, Ms Dyson was the
Executive Adviser to the Chief Executive of the then SA Department
for Environment, Heritage and Aboriginal Affairs, where she
advised on legal and policy matters including playing a key
role in the SA response to the Commonwealth's environmental
law reform and Australia's Oceans Policy.
Ms Dyson was appointed to the Board for her 'legal qualifications
and experience in environmental law'. Her appointment
extends from 21 April 2007 to 20 April 2010. |

Mr Andrew Fletcher is a highly
respected engineer with more than 30 years' experience in
senior management roles in the program management, engineering
and construction industry. He has extensive corporate governance
experience in the private and public sectors and significant
personal interests in the South Australian wine industry.
As CEO and Managing Director of the Port Adelaide Maritime
Corporation he is responsible for the delivery of the South
Australian Government's multimillion dollar support programs
to the Federal Government's Air Warfare Destroyer Program
and the establishment of a sustainable ADF systems and ship
building support precinct at Port Adelaide, South Australia.
The initial support program involves the development and
delivery of Common User Facilities, a Suppliers Precinct,
an Engineering Systems Centre, a Maritime Skills Centre
and a comprehensive Workforce Development Program.
Mr Fletcher was appointed to the Board for his 'practical
knowledge of, and experience in, industry, commerce or economic
development'. His appointment extends from 21 April
2007 to 20 April 2010.

Mr Stephen Hains
Mr Hains has been City Manager of the City of Salisbury
since 1991, one of the largest local government bodies in
South Australia with 115,000 residents, extensive industrial
areas, two airports, a university campus and a major Commonwealth
defence research centre.
Before this he spent eight years in the South Australian
Government as Chairman of the SA Planning Commission and
then Director of the Planning Division of the then Department
of Environment and Planning, where he was responsible for
metropolitan and regional planning in South Australia as
well as environmental impact assessment for major developments.
During 2003-04, Mr Hains also spent seven months as the
Chief Executive, Department of Business Manufacturing and
Trade, where he was responsible for restructuring the Department
into the new Department of Trade and Economic Development.
Mr Hains has also been appointed, as a member of the EPA
Board, to the Board of Zero Waste SA.
Mr Hains was appointed to the Board for his practical
knowledge of, and experience in, local government
as well as for his practical knowledge of, and experience
in, the reduction, re-use, recycling and management of waste
or the environmental management industry. His
appointment extends from 21 October 2005 to 20 October 2008.

Mrs Cheryl Hill is the Executive Director, Foundation for Australia's Most Endangered Species Inc and has worked with this organisation since 1997. She is also a member of both the Zero Waste SA and the Conservation Council of SA Boards.
Previous positions she has held include the Development Manager, Anglican Community Services (ACS), the Executive Director, Flinders Medical Centre Research Foundation and the Development Manager, Greenpeace Australia Inc.
Mrs Hill was appointed to the Board for her ‘practical knowledge of, and experience in, environmental conservation and advocacy on environmental matters on behalf of the community’. |

Mr Greg Panigas
is the state manager of SITA/PWM/Pacific Waste Management
with 12 years experience in the waste management industry.
Mr Panigas is a board member of both KESAB and the Waste Management
Association SA Executive, and is a fellow of the Australian
Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Panigas was appointed to the Board for his practical
knowledge of, and experience in, the reduction, re-use,
recycling and management of waste or the environmental management
industry. His appointment extends from 4 March 2006
to 3 March 2009. |

Ms Yvonne Sneddon has expertise
in a wide range of areas including sustainability reporting
and strategy development; she has served on a number of
boards and committees, and is the Presiding Member of the
Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management
Board.
Ms Sneddon has over 25 years experience as a chartered
accountant and was previously a partner in Deloitte Touche
Tohmatsu in Adelaide.
Ms Sneddon was appointed to the Board for her qualifications
and experience relevant to environmental protection and
management or natural resources management. Her appointment
extends from 21 April 2006 to 20 April 2009. |
