Environment Improver Program

This training package aims to assist businesses in designing and implementing their own Environmental Management Plan (EMP). The Environment Improver Program is delivered by Business SA and is divided into five half-day modules over three weeks.

The program consists of:

  • an introduction to environmental issues
  • water efficiency
  • waste reduction
  • energy conservation
  • compiling an EMP.

This introductory program serves as an excellent starting point to develop a more comprehensive Environment Management System capable of complying with ISO14001. To encourage businesses to develop their own EMP, the EPA will partly refund the fees of participants who have completed the program. For further information contact the EPA.
