In addition to the EPA’s 24-hour pollution reporting telephone line, the EPA also offers a pollution reporting service to council officers.

If you are a council officer, the EPA can allocate you an authorised password which will allow you to directly log the incident on the EPA’s Complaints and Reports of Environmental Significance (CARES) database. Once logged in, you can reassign the incident to the EPA. To request a log-in email the EPA.
