The EPA is undertaking projects concerning the regulation of noise pollution, including:

  • music noise (159.8 KB PDF) — there will be new guidelines to assist planning and liquor licensing authorities in assessing and reducing music noise impacts
  • rail noise — a program to reduce rail noise, particularly the unique issue of 'wheel squeal'.
