Licensed operations in SA
Uranium mining in South Australia is carried out by conventional underground mining and in-situ recovery (ISR), also known as in-situ leaching (ISL) techniques. The following operations are licensed under the Radiation Protection and Control Act 1982 to mine or mill radioactive ores.
