Trials at Mobilong to combat acidity in River Murray, 18 October
A trial is being conducted to examine whether the acidity within the soil profile can be neutralised by means of deep lime injection.

Ongoing water quality monitoring by the EPA has found that that acidity is persisting in drainage channels of 14 irrigation areas in the Lower Murray Reclaimed Irrigation Area (LMRIA) between Mannum and Wellington.
