Adelaide Hills winter air quality results, Released: 4 February 2008
EPA air quality monitoring has revealed that air quality levels in the Adelaide Hills region were acceptable during the 2007 winter months. The monitoring was conducted in the Woodside area between early June and late October 2007 as part of the EPA's SmokeWatch program to assess the impacts of wood smoke.

This morning in the Environment, Resources and Development Court Judge Cole convicted SA Water Corporation of causing an 'environmental nuisance'. The Judge imposed a fine of $13,500 and ordered the corporation to pay the EPA's technical costs of $4,054.

Students from twenty local primary schools around Adelaide are taking part in an exciting new air quality program. They are collecting weather and visual air quality (VAQ) data, analysing this evidence and discovering for themselves why we can’t take air quality for granted.

Minister for Environment and Conservation John Hill said the appointment of Victor Farrington to the Board gives it greater access to advice on issues related to uranium mining and radioactive waste.

Dairy farmer fined, Released: 19 February 2004
Myponga dairy farmer Shannon Kernick was recently fined $5000 in the Environment, Resources and Development Court (ERD) for allowing dairy effluent to escape from a milking shed into a roadside stormwater drain, and potentially into a watercourse within Adelaide’s water supply catchment area.
