Scott Creek is home to a diverse array of aquatic invertebrates with 180 invertebrates collected from this site at Scott Bottom between 1994 and 2004. Many rare and uncommon invertebrates can be found at this site.

The vulture caddis has been collected from Scott Creek on a few occasions. It has also been found in a few other streams in the southern regions of the State. They are known to prefer slow-flowing streams with silty habitats where they feed on decaying animal and plant material.
