The latest monitoring results indicate that water quality was moderate
at West beach due to reduced water clarity. The higher turbidity at these
sites was probably due to the re-suspension of sand and seagrass detritus
during turbulence caused by wind and tidal effects. As water conditions
can change rapidly, particularly following storms, bathers should inspect
the water before swimming to ensure that the current water conditions are
safe.
