Applications for new environmental authorisations (licences, works approvals and exemptions) are available for feedback.
New applications that relate to your suburb or town are open for public feedback for at least 14 days from date of publication.
The EPA will provide all public submissions to the applicant – with personal details removed – and require that the applicant responds about any issues raised. The EPA then considers both the submissions and the response in any decisions about granting an environmental authorisation.
You can lodge a submission by clicking on the 'New applications for comment' box. Once you have submitted your comment a copy of your submission will be sent to your email address for your record.
If you have an attachment that you would like to include with your online comment you can email to or post it to EPA Licensing and Community Response, GPO Box 2607, Adelaide SA 5001 and include your name and the application number that the attachment(s) relates to. The attachment(s) will be included with your online comments and provided to the applicant.
Once an authorisation is issued, the status for each application listed on the index will be changed to ‘Issued’. You can use the environmental authorisation number to search for the current record.
For more information about a new authorisation application, contact (08) 8204 9128 during business hours or email.
